Over the last few years our blog has transformed into a powerful tool for us to voice our opinions, pitch our ideas, and tout our accomplishments to those willing to listen and those willing to engage. In the fast-paced environment we call the agency world, it’s not nearly often enough that we’re able to take the time to slow down during the day to think about and write about the things that really matter to us… friends, family, and other good fortunes we’ve all experienced.
That’s why I’m proud to say that on April 14th, Media Two will be taking some time as a team to show our support for a good cause that’s near and dear to our hearts and that has touched each of us personally. In a tremendous show of dedication, the Men of Media Two – Michael Hubbard, Ilias Carre’, Dave Dekker, Jon Kenny, Nick DiPietro, and myself – will be shaving our heads in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation at their event taking place on the Brickyard at NC State University.
For those of you not familiar, St. Baldrick’s is an organization that raises money through Shavees to support research for childhood cancer. Each year the foundation funds more in research grants for childhood cancer than any group other than the United States Government.
Although we realize times are tight for many, we encourage and invite you to show your support for this cause by visiting Our Team’s Site, passing our information along to friends, or donating if you can.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us in our efforts thus far, and we all look forward to the 14th!

I’d like to give a shout-out to Rachel Healy who recently shaved off her beautiful, long blonde hair for Saint Baldricks and is currently ROCKING the bald look around town.
To anyone reading – this is such a great and important cause. Any and all support is so greatly appreciated. We have a long way to go to reach our team goal – please help!
It’s so great that you guys are doing this — I think you’ll find it to be an incredible event. I’m looking forward to seeing you after the shave!
I wonder if I could convince my co-workers to start a team… I’ll start prepping them for next year
Rachel, thanks! We really appreciate your help getting our team started too! Come by the office and see us after.
Does this mean what I think it does – that you will be a “skinhead” next week? Please let me see the pictures, and also is that Harley in your office hiding behind the green plant in the video?
So in this morning’s weekly kick-off meeting (names have been changed to protect the identities of the accused), kEllie says “you guys were just starting to look good, and now you’re going to shave it all off” – in reference to the fact none of the guys have gotten a haircut in over a month, and apparently we look like crap with our hair short
.
We’re doing it for the kids! This week – come out and watch, cheer us on or contribute!
