SEO Meetup at Media Two

With everything going on at Media Two, I’d be remiss if I didn’t post a quick update on last week’s SEO meetup that was hosted at Media Two.  The event was a collaboration of minds that set out to discuss how Social Media plays together with SEO principles.  A lot of the conversation centered around small businesses in this economy and whether or not they should even dabble in all of the “free” social media options.

Conversations quickly turned to measurement and all different forms of analytics…  What was the most fascinating was that everyone in the room was centered on ROI.  So although I always joke that interactive media whether it be social, display, search or other is all nothing but a numbers game, it seems I’m not alone.

There will be more updates to come soon – but I wanted to quick shoot out a thank you to the full group for all of the insight and an overall good night.  It was great to meet each and every one of you, and hopefully we can host another event in the future!
