Media Two Interactive, an advertising agency specializing in strategic planning, buying and design of digital and traditional media announced today that their Chief Financial Officer, Heather Morrison, has been named a finalist for the Triangle Business Journal’s 2011 CFO of the Year award.

“The CFO awards program recognizes outstanding financial professionals for their fiscal stewardship, and their community service record in the past 12 months,” according to the official announcement made today on the TBJ website.  This year’s winners will be announced at an awards luncheon July 14 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in downtown Raleigh.

Morrison, already a 2-time award winner of Business Leader Magazine’s CFO of the year award, claims the honor is more of a reflection on the entire company than just her individual efforts.  Although Media Two’s CEO agrees it’s a team effort, he added that “Whether she wins or loses, being nominated as a Finalist shows her leadership capabilities and her determination to make everyone else here better.  I think it’s great she’s getting the recognition – she’s earned it.”

Heather is part of the 6-member management team that was announced back in March, 2011 that was charged with continuing the growth of Media Two Interactive.  Her prominence on the team directly contributed to their rapid growth that led them to three-straight Inc. 500 awards.
