Media Two Interactive, a media advertising agency specializing in digital and traditional planning, buying and design, has added Account Coordinator Kim Strikol to its team. In this role, Kim will be working closely with our clients on strategies, implementations, reporting and presenting the next big idea.
After recently graduating with her dual International MBAs, concentrating in marketing, from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and the University of Valencia in Spain, Kim knew her talents and skill sets would best be utilized at Media Two. Kim brings extraordinary experience in project management. Through all of her experiences, one of her favorite campaigns was one that she created as part of her studies. It was a tourist campaign to position Valencia, Spain as a primary vacation destination. The winning theme was “There are a million reasons why you should come to Valencia – the question is why not”. The project included a website redesign, display advertising creative and corresponding media plan, and YouTube videos. All of these initiatives were actually implemented and were met with great success.
“The Valencia campaign allowed me to understand my strengths which include my organizational skills, big-picture planning, thinking on my feet with creative solutions,” Kim reflects. “I also gained perspective on how important it is to really understand the target audiences culture, the client’s goals and how to weave the two together.”
Kim is already fully engaged in implementing all of her skill sets – as well as developing new ones – with many Media Two clients. Always ready to take on the next challenge, Kim has found her first couple of weeks demanding yet rewarding.
“Kim will be a great addition to the Media Two team,” says Michael Hubbard, the agency’s CEO. “Her background in business, marketing projects and love of creativity position her for success in our results driven client services department.”
Although Kim is busy managing timelines, budgets and deliverables, since we strongly believe in mixing in play in every day, Kim has vowed not to give up her guilty pleasure of karaoke.
