RALEIGH, NC – - Just days after The Catevo Group officially closed its doors, local advertising agency Media Two Interactive has announced the hiring of several of the key former Catevo employees, with plans to hire more.
Media Two CEO Michael Hubbard explained: “Any time a company closes its doors it presents a new opportunity both for its employees as well as for agencies like Media Two. The Catevo Group employees were well trained and an exceptionally talented group that will now get a fresh start with another company.”
One of those such companies is Hubbard’s Media Two Interactive, who confirmed that Sheila Connor, formerly Vice President, Client Services with Catevo will assume the same newly created role with Media Two. Randi Garrett, formerly Director, Client Services will also assume a similar role with the agency. Additional offers have already been made to an undisclosed number of others, but more announcements are expected before the month’s end.
Media Two, which began as an interactive media and design shop back in 1998 has steadily been adding more and more full service marketing capabilities over the past year. “Our clients need a full marketing mix in order to continue to grow” commented Hubbard. “Although interactive elements such as Search, Design and Media tend to lead marketing initiatives, they do not happen in a vacuum. The additional services we will now be able to offer from these hirings mean our clients will come out ahead – both in brand recognition and ROI objectives.”
In June of this year, Media Two expanded into larger office space in downtown Raleigh in anticipation of growth. It appears, in light of The Catevo Group news, everything happens for a reason.
